Proud to share my latest story on the ‘Bleu de Jodhpur’ collection by Boucheron featured in the LUXE (A monthly luxury special by The Hindu Business Line daily newspaper) dated 18 February 2016.
India has always role played as a major source of influence in the international circuit of high jewellery since decades. The imprints of Indian architecture, regional motifs and the riot of colours are often seen at the most high profile runways of the fashion industry. But, the latest collection from the French jewellery house Boucheron uplifts the inspiration from literal motif picking to a more tactile version by cleverly incorporating daring material like Makrana marble and sand from Thar Desert into their latest collection ‘Bleu de Jodhpur’. Adding excitement, calibrated gemstones and diamonds in custom shapes enhance the overall experience of their collection.
