My affair with jewellery started at a very early age but it only got its voice when I graduated as a jewellery designer from NIFT, Gandhinagar; one of the top design colleges in India. Today, after more than 14 years of working within global jewellery industry, I am an accomplished Jewellery Specialist based in New Delhi, India.
My company ‘Preeta Agarwal Workroom’ is a one-stop place for all jewellers and magazines that are looking for inspiring visual, informative & creative content and guidance on jewellery. By clubbing my expertise with specialized freelancers, we provide various exclusive services for the world of fine jewellery in brand consultation (branding, marketing and events), brand promotion, jewellery styling, content for books and magazines, collection conceptualization, PR & communications and guidance in design & trends.
As a journalist, I have been writing about jewellery for more than 10 years now. Apart from my blog ‘Bejewelled Finds’ and Instagram page @preeta_agarwal, my features have been published by various magazines such as Solitaire Asia Pacific (Singapore), The Jewellery Editor (London), VO+ (Italy), JCK (USA), Rapaport (USA), Make In India, Harpers Bazaar Bride (India), Forbes (India), LUXE (India) Marwar (India), Wedding Sutra (India), Floroscent (India), The Indian Jeweller Magazine, ICA and many more.
I have been fortunate enough to write five books on jewellery. ‘The Jewellery Book’, ‘International Wedding Jewels’, ‘Around The Neck’, ‘India Inspired’ and the latest ‘A Jeweller’s Palette’ are books authored by me that talk about international trends in the space of fine jewellery. My moment of pride was the title of ‘Blogger of the Year 2019’ awarded to me at the leading Lights Awards at International Jewellery London show 2019.
Creating a niche for my services in the jewellery industry I have been associated with various special projects like the ‘Jewellery Intensive’ experience tours, ‘Jaipur Jewellery Design Festival’, knowledge seminars on jewellery & social media with Katerina Perez and many more.
During this journey, I have been fortunate enough to have had close interactions with prominent international jewellery brands like Bvlgari, Boucheron, Cartier, Graff, Faberge, Van Cleef & Arpels and accomplished Indian designer brands like Farah Khan, Sunita Shekhawat, Amrapali and the list is endless.
Photography– a hobby turned into professional work, has immensely supported me, to work as a blogger & jewellery stylist, and for my clients while positioning and exhibiting their brands.
